Discipline, Design, & Discovery
My career began in high intensity arenas — the U.S. Marine Corps, roles within the Department of Defense, and work connected to Capitol Hill. These environments were disciplined, fast, and consequential. Add years of travel and living abroad, and life rarely paused.
Over time, I felt the cost of constant velocity. Not a lack of meaning — a lack of depth. Everything was urgent. Everything was digital. Very little invited immersion.
I didn’t want distraction. I wanted something intellectually satisfying. Something intentional. Something designed, not disposable.
NeuroGrid Puzzles emerged from that recalibration.
What began as creating thoughtful word searches evolved into a larger conviction: this category had been neglected. Mass market puzzles were treated as cheap entertainment — printed fast, consumed quickly, forgotten.
I saw an opportunity to elevate them.
NeuroGrid transforms word puzzles into immersive experiences — blending beautiful design, cultural storytelling, and curated discovery. Each book is structured to reward attention, to connect people to places, history, and meaning. The goal isn’t to fill time. It’s to engage the mind.
In a distracted world, the real offering is depth.
Not just words to find — but something more to discover.
